Ecate
is a time to design
Ecate
is a place to innovate
We experience culture in a different way, together with operators and artists; public administrations, foundations and cultural organizations; innovative, rebellious and curious people.

Ecate is us

Since 2009 we have been creating community engagement processes that enable citizens to create new values, take care of the common good, and construct their collective identity.

SARA CARMAGNOLA

Provocateur of cultural processes and developer of entrepreneurial projects, she loves to give shape and structure to impossible ideas and enterprises. She works on training as a relationship, continuous learning and the basis for the improvement of the species. She is the President of Ecate, but also front row of her rugby team and a condominium representative. Her habitat is the community. She can’t survive without post-its, markers and beers.

JOSEPHINE MAGLIOZZI

Experimenter of the ephemeral and serial compiler of calls for proposals, she loves art as a collective generative act and bottom-up processes of cultural participation, from the side and diagonally. She is a founding member of Ecate and pursues the goal of working only with people and ideas that can improve her and have a positive impact on as many elements of the solar system as possible. She cannot survive without her agenda and dark chocolate.

STEFANIA DOLCINI

An explorer of emerged and submerged lands, a polyglot of artistic languages, a medium of culture, she loves communication as a distillation of existence, has an innate propensity for solving problems and a marked ability to generate relationships and collaborations. She is a founding member of Ecate. At work, she knows how to give and how to ask for the best. She cannot survive without communicating and has an extremely contagious laugh.

FEDERICA PALADINI

Tamer of brushes and colours and magician of numbers, graphics and invoices of all kinds, her vital element is dance, her form the golden spiral. She selects the people and projects with which to collaborate with analytical lucidity, and her survival instinct and ability to never lose sight of the objective do the rest. She can’t live without Excel, on which she has a kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder. She is tremendously ironic.

MARCO FINARDI

Cartographer of artistic and cultural processes, translator of dynamic systems and multiplier of imagery and visions, he believes in teamwork and the exchange of ideas and skills, he loves co-design and contradictions, which he tries to resolve, encase, synthesise in schemes and ideograms. He is looking for the missing link in the history of evolution between artists and audiences. He cannot survive without tools.

CHIARA “KIA” ALBERTI

Surfer of the Internet and various and sundry algorithms, she travels the metaverse and software with the confidence of her nerdiness and chameleon-like intelligence. She has the attitude and elegance of Mr. Wolf and something of a Berlin-style maverick. She cannot survive without caffeine, Wi-Fi, and her VPN.

VIOLA CAPPELLUTI

She is a flower, a color, a musical instrument–and many other things! Walker of the poetic metre’s tightrope and a charmer with words, she loves to write novels, poems, posts, captions, and shopping lists. She can communicate with anyone no matter their species: animal, vegetable, mineral, and yet to know. She cannot survive without her morning coffee and her library card.
